Awesome trip man! I think Montana is one of the most unknown treasures in this country (at least to us East Coasters!) The Big Belt Mountains are some of the most beautiful area ever! I am following you now and I wish you all the best on the epic paddle! I hope the CLC Board works well for you as I think they make some great kits. Love the Moose by the way, nice touch! Have fun and I am in total envy!
Thanks Justin! I’m very happy with the board and loved building it. I found the moose the day before I put the glass on. Just stumbled upon it at a fabric shop when I was looking for ideas.
One other thing….you’re right about the Tetons…and kick ass with the christening with the Moose Drool!!
Remarkable blog. Remarkable Journey. Remarkable man, you are. While in Bismarck, I think you need to meet and benefit from the knowledge and adventures of a similar adventurer, Clay Jenkinson. If he hasn’t already contacted you, please get in touch with him. You WILL NOT regret it. And it may change much about your trip. His email is firstname.lastname@example.org But I am going to go out on the proverbial limb and give you his cellphone number, believing that he will be as gratified to meet you: 701-202-6751. Thank you for involving the press, so ordinary Janes such as I can savor the adventure by proxy. Blessing to you, all the way!

Oh someone was just telling me about him! I’ll shoot him an email. Thanks!
